Wig Bank

Hair loss is a common side effect of chemotherapy. It can be a difficult transition for many, which is why we maintain a wig bank within our Outpatient Center. Although it is mainly used by patients undergoing chemotherapy, it is also available to those in the community. Once you pick out your wig, you can take it to your local hairstylist to help you with washing, drying, and styling tips. If you happen to have wigs that you no longer use or want, we’d love to have them! We accept wig donations through Lakes Regional Healthcare Foundation. Please call Foundation Executive Director Sonja Hamm at 712-336-8790 about donating now.
