During Nurses Week, May 6-12, 2025, Lakes Regional Healthcare (LRH) proudly celebrates the dedication and compassion of over 130 nurses who care for patients throughout our hospital and community. These professionals provide outstanding care across multiple departments, including Emergency, Inpatient, Critical Care, Obstetrics, Surgery, Occupational Health, Oncology, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Home Care and Hospice, and Public Health, ensuring patients receive the highest quality of care at every stage of their healthcare journey.
“Their ability to combine clinical excellence with genuine compassion is inspiring,” said LRH Chief Nursing Officer Bryan Williams. “Whether they’re providing life-saving interventions in Critical Care, guiding patients through recovery in Cardiac Rehab, or offering comfort to patients and families, our nurses embody the spirit of caregiving that defines our hospital.”
The nursing team at LRH represents a diverse group of professionals with specialized skills tailored to the unique needs of each department. In the Surgery Department, nurses ensure seamless procedures and patient safety, while those in Obstetrics help patients navigate the excitement, anxiety, and challenges of labor and delivery and those in Inpatient and Critical Care units provide round-the-clock monitoring and support for acutely ill patients. House Supervisors and Nursing Department Leaders guide nursing teams with dedication and expertise. Nurses in Home Care and Hospice extend care into patients’ homes, offering dignity and comfort, while Dickinson County Public Health nurses work to promote wellness and prevent disease throughout Dickinson County.
