Bargain hunters, gift seekers, and supporters of local students won’t want to miss a special event at the Lakes Area Farmer’s Market on Wednesday, July 9. From 3:30 pm until 7:00 pm, Lakes Regional Healthcare’s (LRH) Gift Shop and Auxiliary will be on site at the Dickinson County Fairgrounds with unique merchandise and a special fundraising effort.
The LRH Gift Shop will offer a wide selection of items from its store at deep discounts – up to 90% off. Shoppers can score deals on merchandise priced between $1 and $10 each, making it a great opportunity to stock up on gifts, home décor, accessories, and more.
In addition, the LRH Auxiliary will host a jewelry and purse fundraiser featuring high quality, gently used pieces. Proceeds from the Auxiliary’s sales will go toward scholarships for students in Dickinson County pursuing healthcare careers – so every purchase helps make a difference in a local student’s future.
“This is a fun way for the community to support our healthcare system and students, all while getting great deals and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the farmer’s market,” said LRH Vice President of Marketing Jennifer Gustafson. “We’ve always been a fan of the farmer’s market and love their twice weekly events and also appreciate them allowing us to be part of it on July 9.”
The July 9 event will include a variety of the Lakes Area Farmer’s Market’s familiar local vendors selling fresh produce, baked goods, homemade gifts, and more. And if you work up an appetite while shopping, Yoly’s Tacos food truck will be on site serving delicious tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos and hot dogs.
Come early, bring a friend, and enjoy an evening of community, great finds, and good food – all while supporting a great cause!
