In recognition of their contributions to patient care, Lakes Regional Healthcare is observing National Surgical Technologist Week from September 15 through 21, 2024. Surgical Technologists play a critical role in operating rooms, ensuring that procedures are performed safely and efficiently. They work closely with surgeons, CRNAs, and other healthcare professionals to prepare instruments, equipment, and the patient for surgery.
“Their expertise and dedication contribute significantly to positive patient outcomes,” said Lakes Regional Healthcare Director of Surgical Services Melissa Klontz. “We appreciate and celebrate our surgical technologists. We are fortunate to have a great team!”
