Lakes Regional Healthcare has been named one of the Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals in the United States for the fifth year in a row by The Chartis Center for Rural Health.
Now in its 13th year, the center analyzes rural hospitals through the Hospital Strength INDEX®, the industry’s most comprehensive and objective assessment of rural hospital performance in the United States. Leveraging publicly available data, the index is trusted by rural hospitals, health systems and rural affiliates, hospital associations and state offices of rural health across the country to measure and monitor performance across a variety of areas impacting hospital operations and finance.
“Amidst uncertainty and strain, we are excelling in achieving higher quality, securing better outcomes, increasing patient satisfaction, and operating at a lower cost than our peers,” said Lakes Regional Healthcare President and CEO Jason Harrington. “To be recognized once would be an accomplishment but to maintain that recognition for the last five years, including two COVID years, is both impressive and humbling. It speaks so well of each and every one of our team members and everything they do for our patients and our community.”
