Anthony Young, FNP-C, a new full-time nurse practitioner at Lakes Regional Family Medicine, will begin seeing patients at the clinic on July 11.
Mr. Young received his Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Iowa and completed his master’s degree in nursing at the University of Phoenix in Arizona and began practice as a Nurse Practitioner in 2008. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, he has practiced in the intensive care unit, the emergency department, and as a flight nurse. He has most recently been a Nurse Practitioner within urgent care and family practice settings in Sun Lakes, Arizona.
“I grew up on a farm in Milford and have family in Milford and Spencer,” he said. “I’ve missed northwest Iowa and am looking forward to being close to family and providing care to people locally.”
In his free time Mr. Young enjoys spending time with family, his two bulldogs, and being outdoors.
