If so, an upcoming, two-hour Welcome to Medicare event offered by Lakes Regional Healthcare SHIIP counselors can help you understand what Medicare offers and what benefits you are eligible for.
The Welcome to Medicare event will be held on Tuesday, May 16 from 6:30 until 8:30 pm in the Big Spirit Conference Room in the lower level of Lakes Regional Healthcare. Those interested in attending can register by calling 712-336-6698 by May 12. Topics will include Medicare Part A and Part B benefits, the prescription drug benefits (Part D), Medicare Advantage plans, Medicare supplement insurance, and identifying Medicare fraud, errors and abuse.
