LRH Announces New Chief Financial Officer
Lakes Regional Healthcare (LRH) announced today that Steve Alger has been appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
LRH President and Chief Executive Officer Jason Harrington said, “Steve has an extensive background in the finance and accounting areas, along with experience he can draw upon from other industries. We think he’ll bring several fresh, new ideas to Lakes Regional Healthcare and are looking forward to having him on our team.”
Alger comes to LRH from Community Housing Initiatives in Spencer, where he has served as the CFO. Previously he served as the Controller for Pure Fishing. Prior to moving back to northwest Iowa in 2003, Alger was the Plant Controller for GE Interlogix in St. Paul, Minnesota and did public accounting work for several years. He holds a Masters Degree in Finance from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis and a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa.
Alger officially joins the LRH team on November 16.
