Volunteers
Organized in 1958, the purpose of Lakes Regional Healthcare Volunteers is to support services and activities benefiting the hospital, patients, and community.
Volunteers enhance patient services by volunteering as receptionists and messengers, offering Telecare services, managing and operating the Gift Shop, making hand-crafted items for patients, and coordinating fund raising projects. Funds raised from Lifetime Membership dues and various fund raising activities are used for scholarships and Lakes Regional Healthcare employee loans for education in the health care fields.
Lakes Regional Healthcare Volunteers welcomes both men and women into its membership. If you wish to join, membership cards are available in the Gift Shop, located on the first floor near the hospital's east entrance.
